Shine On

In my summer program, my little girl students LOVE to have "spa day". All that means is that for one hour we do nails instead of class. I have done it with them three times all summer long. They LOVE it! We have a lot of fun and they just get to be girls for a while and hang out. I tell them about it a day or so in advance and they bring a big bag of "beauty stuff" - they call it.

One of the girls had this 4-sided nail buffer that I used. It was AWESOME. I am totally sold. Everyone must have one. =)


Side 1 is to file the tips of your nails down and get them nice and even. Side 2 is to remove all ridges on the surface of your nail. Side 3 is to buff and Side 4 is to get a super shine. While using it, I couldn't stop raving about it to all the little girls - they were probably really over me saying "this is soo cool!". There is pretty much No Need for clear nail polish anymore. I took a quick picture with my iphone (sorry no good pics) of my nails so you could get an idea of the shine with NO POLISH!
This has got to be one of the best inventions since sliced bread.
