First of all.... I forgot to take a BEFORE picture (once again!). Geez Wa-Leez what's the matter with me, I always do that. So I will try to paint you a verbal picture: It was a dark mahogany wood with brassy circular medallions on each corner of the wood.
I ruffed up the frame with a medium grit sandpaper and then gave it two coats of my favorite creamy white paint by Valspar.
Once the paint set overnight I got to distressing to make it look antique.I finished it up with some satin wipe-on poly by Minwax.
There were no hooks on the back to hang it on a wall with, so I bought hooks from Lowes and installed them into the back of the wood frame.
Ta- Da... Brand new "old" mirror.
