Believe it or not, I didn't find one of the this year- I wasn't looking that hard either. So I guess I should say, One didn't appear before me. Instead I started a Christmas countdown on the new chalkboard door.
However, I think I've only updated the number about 8 times all month. It was 13 days til Christmas for about a week and a half.
I painted the lower recessed section of our back door with chalkboard paint. This door leads to the backyard, which we often use to come in and out of the house with. The gate to the end of the driveway is right by it. It needed some sprucing. Since our kitchen is half painted and has too many projects started and barely any completed... You only get a picture of the door for now. =)
I totally love that idea! I've been wanting to do something with chalkboard paint and haven't figured out what yet. You gave me inspiration...but since i'm renting i'll have to paint a door and hang it on the wall instead!
