Georgia Peach w/o the Georgia

I found a wonderful surprise in the corner of my backyard the other day. My peach tree is all ripe and dripping with big juicy peaches. Yummy. We have a defective lemon tree that gives us one lemon a year I think (although we've only lived here 4 months- we've only had 1 lemon) and a nectarine tree but I don't like nectarines, and a PEACH tree. I've been so excited for it to grace us with its fruit, and now its time, YAY! Thank you to the lady who lived here before us and planted this tree years and years ago. Anyone want some peaches? I've got plenty.

Also, the "pumpkin patch" that I planted at the end of May has one lone vine growing. I guess thats all it takes though. I've never planted anything before but now that I have my own backyard I decided pumpkins were a must. Fall is my favorite time of year. I planted an entire seed pack of pumpkin seeds and only ONE seed germinated. I hope that is the right term. =)
My lonely little vine is beginning to get a flower, I can't wait to carve my pumpkin.
