Here's my newest: She was once old and ugly, but sturdy. I loved her design, especially the lines inside the drawer area...
With such a vibrant color, I felt like a lot of distressing was in order with this one.
I painted the detailing a metallic gold, as well as the original hardware.
I love this color so much. This table is currently waiting for a new home in my Etsy Store. While she waits, shes sitting in the spare bedroom against an orange damask curtain, which has inspired a guest bedroom look. I LOVE orange and turquoise together.
That really turned out well. I like how you painted the detailing gold to match the hardware. How do you part with these things?? I would have a hard time letting things like this go!

Okay, you've just changed my way of thinking...gold is NOT tacky! I'm always tempted to repaint gold fixtures, but now I'm thinking it looks amazing! Great redo!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this!! I actually have it's twin. I blogged about it when I first started. I painted mine olive green with white detail and glass handles. I must admit...I don't like mine, now. I wish mine looked like yours and I may have to pull it out of the shop and redo it! :) Or just do this look on another piece. You are so talented. Thanks for sharing at FFF!
