Etsy Monday: Pillow Overload

I wanted to start a series on Etsy. For those of you who don't know about it, hurry hurry go to ETSY.COM right now! (p.s. I am sooo not being paid to plug them). I just LOVE etsy, you can find almost anything. I've always loved handmade things. Some of the best presents I ever received when I was little was stuff like a soap making kit, a candle making kit, stuff for decoupage. Its just in me. Thanks mom. Since I often find myself lost in Etsy I decided I would at least share some of my searches with you. Each Monday I will pick a topic and show you my favorite finds. The hard part is just not being able to get through everything, so there may be a favorite that I never got to view.

First Etsy Monday...Pillows. I love throw pillows! I definitely don't have enough...is it possible to have too many?? Well, I guess you can on a bed. I just don't understand those beautiful made up beds with dozens of throw pillows on them. How long does that take in the morning to make it up?? That's an extra 5 minutes of sleep right there. I admit, I'm lazy though. Any way....I've been eying some really cute pillows out there. I'm a big fan of the handmade ones on etsy. I wanted to share some of my favorites with you. I didn't realize how many there were out there. I just bought some clearance pillows from Target too. Dang.

Shabby Nest will customize it to whatever profile picture YOU send in. Cool huh!?

and these are made by her too...

The Home Centric on etsy has some great pillows. They all look very quality made.
I love this ruffle pillow, it reminds me of one my friend Casey made.

These pillows by Homemaker Movements on etsy feel indie and warm to me. Each one has a different vibe. I want some!

Made by Additional Comfort, this put a big ol' smile on my face. I think this is really funny.

Sweet...

Ohhh for the love of Anna Maria Horner Fabric...
I've always wanted something of her fabric in my house. These pillow caovers made by Pillow Mio are so cute.

These pillow covers from Elegant Touch remind me of Ballard designs which I love so much but can't afford. So these are great!
I've been loving birds lately, so this screen printed pillow by Branch Handmade is making googly eyes at me.. kinda like the geico money.
Okay, as I am writing this post I'm realizing it is going to be the longest in the world... and we are only talkin' pillows here. I must stop. But I can't! I've barely scratched the surface of all the etsy pillows. So I'm only going to add some more without text, but you can click on them to be sent to its etsy home. I'm addicted.

  3. I have an unhealthy obsession with throw pillows. That sequin one with the silky rosettes? TO DIE FOR. I'm thinking about getting a crisp white comforter for my bed and then covering it with colorful, ornate pillows! My husband would just love it... Not. :o/

Okay, off to Etsy to go drool over some more pillows...

  5. Holy Fabulous Throw Pillows!! These are all incredible!!

If anyone hasn't been to Etsy... I would warn them before sending them over... Etsy is HIGHLY addictive & forces you to spend way too much money on super cool items you can't find anywhere else!! :-)
